HOW TO IE TUNE YOUR 2.0T TSI
IE ECU Stages for your VW MK7 or 8V A3 engine are available as Stage 1 stock engines or with modified hardware for Stage 2. Read below to determine the best stage for your build!
In order to flash your vehicle, you will need an IE POWERlink Direct-port Flash Tool (sold separately) and a Windows 7+ powered laptop. Already own an IE POWERlink cable? Contact us to purchase upgrade credits, there is no fee to upgrade tunes and you only pay the difference in tune cost.

WHAT DOES THE MK7 / 8V ECU TUNE DO?

Stage 1 is designed for those wanting more power without adding any additional parts. Enthusiasts will have the choice between 91 & 93 fuel octanes and the ability to flash back to stock within minutes. As another added benefit, your IE Stage 1 Tune has been designed to adapt to minor bolt-on modifications, such as an intercooler or intake. Low torque file available for stock tuned DSG transmissions or manual trans with the stock clutch.

DSG TUNE REQUIRED FOR SELECT ECU FILES
Required for GTI & A3 Stage 1 high torque and all Stage 2 tune files, IE's DSG transmission tune will no longer lug the engine in drive mode or short shift the larger powerband. Clutch clamping forces are increased so the transmission can safely handle and deliver the increased power and torque. To get the most out of your tune investment, a lot of features have been added to make a fully rounded performance vehicle with more aggressive launches, faster shifting, higher RPM, and optimized shift points, and selectable launch control.
IE POWERlink DIRECT PORT FLASH TOOL
IE's own in-house developed POWERlink cable gives you the control to unlock your engine’s true potential from your own garage or driveway. Enjoy the freedom to quickly reflash your car’s engine control unit (ECU) or transmission control unit (TCU) with IE’s line of performance tunes. The cable simply plugs into your vehicle’s OBD-2 port delivering instant access to choose different IE Tune stages to match installed hardware, take advantage of different fuel octanes, flashback to stock, perform engine diagnostics, read/clear codes and gather high-quality operating data via logging.

RETURN POLICY
VW Central PTY. LTD. will accept returns for unused products within 14 days from the time that the order was placed. If a product is returned within 14 days of the original purchase date you are eligible for a refund to the original payment method used. Any returns made outside the 14 day return policy time frame may qualify for a VW Central in store credit refund only (Note: Non-stocked items are NOT returnable after 14 days).
PRODUCT WARRANTY
The standard warranty policy is 12 months from the delivery date unless otherwise stated. VW Central PTY. LTD. will only warranty manufacturer related defects NOT related to installer error, modification, improper use or vehicle failure.
All warranty claims will be resolved at the discretion of VW Central. VW Central should be notified first of all claims in order to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
