Each splitter is developed to become an integral part of your stock body kit, giving it unrivalled rigidity and strength so it can absorb scrapes and protect your bumper. WHY DO YOU USE POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITE FOR YOUR PRODUCTS? Strong, impact-resistant, doesn't corrode or chip, and has excellent abrasion resistance (eg. scraping on driveways!) WHAT ABOUT CARBON FIBRE? As strong and light as carbon fibre is, it cracks on impact or when under load and/or stress. Clearcoat will eventually fade or crack, becoming undesirable. USE OF ABS PLASTIC Please note that although all our precision-made ABS accessories are extremely strong and durable, they do not hold the same shatterproof label as our 10mm thick polyethylene composite splitters. The accessories are manufactured in ABS with the intention that they will be lighter, bolt-on attachments that will improve aesthetics and are easily replaceable if they become damaged from varying road conditions.$175.00

The Flow Designs splitter set is the best exterior mod for your VW MK7.5 Golf R! Easy install & perfect fitment guaranteed, with Australia-wide & international shipping on all products.
Why is our splitter so strong? Our secret is in the crossbar studs - 4 stainless steel studs matched with coupling nuts are bolted directly into the lower OEM crossbar. This allows the splitter to attach directly onto a solid section of the vehicle while also supporting the front bumper.
When installed correctly the studs reinforce the splitter from the inside, making the splitter an integral part of the vehicle. This achieves better tensile load giving it unrivalled rigidity and strength and can absorb scrapes while protecting your bumper. Provisions for transmission and brake cooling have also been taken into consideration.
Pre-assembled aerospacers are bolted down perpendicularly to create a brace that reinforces the splitter and spreads the load from impacts as evenly across the surface, it also allows the splitter to follow the contour of the bumper keeping it flat and level.
Excluding the hardware (that holds all the components together) and the supplied fitting kit used for mounting, the splitter is made up of 5 individual parts designed, developed and manufactured in Melbourne.
