The IE MQB Gen 3 Cold Air Intake (2020 Release V2) is a full-width, ram-air design engineered for tuned MK7 and MK7.5 VW Golf GTI, Golf R, and Alltrack, and the Audi 8V A3 and S3. High-flow velocity stack, 3.5″ turbo inlet pipe, and a modular heat shield that accepts an optional gloss carbon fiber lid.

Our intake design features a robust aluminum alloy heat shield that spans the entire length of the front clip. This innovative design channels high-pressure outside air from the front grille directly to the integrated velocity stack and air filter, effectively sealing off hot engine bay air for superior heat resistance.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, race-proven design features, and extreme attention to detail, the results are gains of up to 15 WHP and 13 ft-lb of torque, with even higher increases possible on hybrid and large turbo setups. This intake exceeds expectations in power, sound, quality, and above all, fun!

Replacing the factory plastic intake box and small diameter piping with IE's true motorsport designed intake in back-to-back flow bench testing shows consistent airflow gains up to a 67% increase in flow over stock.

The cast alloy inlet replaces the restrictive plastic stock inlet, opening up airflow from the intake to the turbo. It is the piece that takes flow from a modest gain to up to 67% over stock. Your intake already includes silicone couplers for both the stock and IE inlet, so it is ready to bolt on.

Will this fit my car?

Do I need anything else to install it?
No. Everything needed is included, including the stealth coolant line and the SAI connection or blanking plug. No trips to the hardware store and no separate add-on kits.
