IS YOUR STOCK INLET ROBBING POWER?
The factory installed plastic turbo inlet found installed on your VW or Audi Gen 3 1.8T or 2.0T TSI engine is adequate enough for stock cars with factory hardware and ECU calibrations. However, the necked down design becomes a major flow restriction when ran with power upgrades such as cold air intakes, intercoolers, downpipes, and ECU upgrades.

On turbo engines more flow equals more power! Putting performance first, the ram air design, velocity stack, 3.5″ inlet pipe, and massive 5-inch filter all function to deliver the most power possible from an intake system. This Intake design delivers a massive flow increase over the stock air box, resulting in over 10 horsepower and torque over stock and far exceeds this on hybrid or large turbo setups.
MODULAR DESIGN
At the base of our intake is an alloy heat shield that spans the entire front of the car for maximum fresh air flow, seals off hot engine bay air, and securely holds the velocity stack and air filter. The modular design allows for an optional carbon fiber lid to be installed further sealing off the intake from radiant engine heat and provides a high-end gloss carbon finish to your engine bay.
PERFECT FITMENT & APPEARANCE
IE engineers utilize cutting edge 3D scanners and specialized software to create a digital model of the engine bay. This digital environment ensures the intake clears and fits exactly like a factory-installed unit. Rapid printed prototypes are then used to ensure fitment in actual vehicles before moving onto production. The result is an intake that provides a hassle-free install with angles and curves that not only look at home in your engine bay, but elevates the style completely.
FULLY INCLUSIVE KIT
Everything needed to install your new IE intake is included without having to make any trips to the hardware store or purchase additional add-on kits. Included is our stealth coolant line, which completely hides under the intake and out of view. This protects the coolant line from interfering or rubbing on anything that may lead to future coolant leaks. For vehicles equipped with secondary air injection (SAI) the IE intake is equipped to connect to the factory line without having to purchase an additional kit. Don’t have SAI? No worries, a plug is also included.

To accomplish a ram-air design, our engineers utilize large piping and a velocity stack to efficiently deliver as much air as possible. IE cone filters are specifically designed for high-flow and perfect fitment to the integrated velocity stack found on most IE cold air intake kits. This is a dry filter that can be oiled, however, we do not recommend air filter oiling on turbocharged or forced induction vehicles. The filter can be cleaned and re-used many times. DESIGN DETAILS
IE engineers set out to produce the highest performing cold air intake that looks great and fits like a factory installed part in your A4. The latest in computer design and 3D scanning technology were employed during the development process for a perfect fit and maximum performance. The final product resulted in the greatest performing and best-looking intake available.
HIGH-FLOW VELOCITY STACK
Delivering cold air to your engine is a must for making power. The velocity stack efficiently channels air as quickly as possible into the intake system. The velocity also functions as a solid mount for the air filter which means no intake pipes rattling on heat shields.
CUSTOM HEAT SHIELD
IE uses a three piece heat shield which performs and looks great. It effectively channels cold air from the front of the car to the massive performance filter. Furthermore, it eliminates the induction of hot air found in other locations of the engine bay. A second heat shield is mounted above the turbocharger to further protect against power robbing heat off the exhaust and turbo.
PERFECT FITMENT
This Intake fits B9 Audi A4 and A5 without any modification or installation hassles. The install process is simple and can be done quickly with basic tools. The fact that IE intake utilizes the factory airbox mounts ensures a perfect and hassle free fit. DYNO POWER RESULTS
The following power result data was collected on our in-house Dynapack hub dyno. Dyno chart is as tested at 4500 feet altitude with SAE corrected numbers. Before and after results are direct back-to-back comparisons on a full bolt-on stage 2 B9 A4 2.0T engine. The only change made to the vehicle between testing is the swap from a stock intake with a new clean air filter to the IE Cold Air Intake Kit. Dyno power results are approximate and may vary from car to car.

ECS Manifold Port Boost Tap Kit
Product Details The ECS Billet Aluminum Manifold Port Boost Tap Kit conveniently adds three boost / vacuum ports to your Gen3 engine for any of your specific needs. Located on the left side of the intake manifold within the unused side intake port, this location provides a strong pneumatic signal and allows for an installation. Through multiple design revisions and product testing, our team of engineers found that other methods of acquiring a manifold signal, such as spacing the MAP / IAT sensor on top of the intake manifold, lead to skewed data being transmitted to the ECU. We found that intake air temperatures were reading lower (15-20° F at WOT), ignition timing was off (as much as -5°) and air /fuel ratio was richer (+1.0 point by 5,000 RPM). This directly translated into engine power dropping by as much as 6 WHP on an untuned vehicle! You can be certain that all critical data is not affected and your engine's ECU has all of its valuable information to properly adjust timing and fuel with our leading edge design! At CTS Turbo we are proud to announce our new throttle pipe for the 8V.2 RS3/8S TTRS 2.5T EVO. The OEM charge piping leaves something to be desired with inefficient bends not optimized for performance. The CTS Turbo throttle pipe increases the entire inside diameter to 2.5″ allowing for increased flow and greater performance. The integrated water methanol bungs allow for simple and straightforward installation of kits from Snow Performance.
