These new Kompact Dual Ports offer an alternative to the existing Kompact Plumb Backs for the below cars, for owners who want the sound of a Dual Port BOV, but do not require the heavier-duty performance of the larger and higher priced Type 5.
The Kompact is suited to owners of otherwise stock or mildly modified vehicles, seeking the improved performance of an Turbosmart BOV with that classic vent-to-atmosphere sound.
The existing Kompact Plumb Back for these applications is ideal for those who prefer the quieter operation of a recirculating BOV, while the Type 5 is ideal for more highly modified cars running increased boost levels.
The Kompact Dual Port blow-off valve is a direct replacement for the stock bypass valve on the Mercedes A45 AMG. Standard valves crack with age and heat cycling, and rely on rubber diaphragms which perish.
Kompact Dual Port blow-off valves are also designed to handle increased boost levels. Turbosmart's Kompact offers big blow-off valve performance in a small package. Its billet aluminium construction provides strength, while the precision-machined lightweight piston gives excellent valve response and sealing without relying on rubber diaphragms or O-rings, so it's far more durable, and guards against compressor surge even when the boost is turned up

Turbosmart BOV Kompact Plumb Back VW Golf MK7 GTI/R
Turbosmart's new Kompact Shortie Blow-Off Valve for the Mk7 takes performance to the next level. These valves are a high performance replacement for the Golf's standard diverter valve. Unlike the standard valve's plastic construction, they are machined from aircraft grade aluminium, and bolt straight up to the factory location, offering all the technology from Turbosmart's race-bred BOV range in an OEM-replacement package. The Plumb Back is a 100% recirculating blow-off valve, routing all vented air back into the intake.
