Kompact VAG V2 Plumb Back has been specifically to suit the 2.0L VAG engine Unlike the standard, plastic valves that use un-reinforced diaphragms and are known to crack under increased boost, the new Kompact VAG V2 Plumb Back uses O-Ring sealed piston which, coupled with it's billet aluminium construction give it over 30PSI boost handling capability. The existing Kompact Plumb Back for these applications is ideal for those who prefer the quieter operation of a recirculating BOV, while the Type 5 is ideal for more highly modified cars running increased boost levels.
The VAG Type 5 Smart Port Diverter Valve features innovative new drive-by-wire friendly staging technology. This eliminates compressor surge at both low throttle and high engine load while smoothly integrating with factory engine mapping.
