WHAT DOES A DSG TRANSMISSION TUNE DO?
IE’s Audi S4 (DL501 S-Tronic) DSG tune is all-inclusive and does not offer expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features and upgrades are included at one low cost. A great deal of sportiness is added to the tune while maintaining factory smoothness and driveability that you love about the S4. More aggressive launches and faster shifts are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Also, expect acceleration and 0-60 times to improve dramatically from a larger useable powerband provided by the higher shift points.
REQUIRED FOR SELECT ECU TUNES
Required for S4 & S5 Stage 2 dual pulley files, your new transmission tune will no longer lug the engine in drive mode or short shift the larger powerband. Clutch clamping forces are increased so the transmission can safely handle and deliver the increased power and torque. DSG tune requires a matching ECU Tune, do not install on stock ECU tunes.

*Some early model B8 DSG TCUs cannot have launch control added to them, as well as some replacement Mechatronics units. Non compatible TCU codes include, but may not be limited to 8K1927156AC and 8K1927156AD. You can use your IE Powerlink tool to check your TCU code. Other DSG tune features will function normally.

DRIVE MAPPING REWORKED
The B8 and B8.5 S4 is designed to a fault to keep engine rpm extremely low in drive. We completely reworked this, creating a more enthusiast-friendly drive mapping which shifts a bit higher. This eliminates vibration and that constant feeling that you’re lugging the engine. We’ve reworked the downshifting aspect as well, making the transmission much quicker to deliver power when you need it. Thousands of miles of testing were accumulated and a variety of users were polled to come up with this improved drive mode.
INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE
Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold more torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches will far more aggressive.
FLASHED THROUGH OBD-II PORT
There’s no need to remove the TCU from the car and it can be flashed in your driveway or through an IE software dealer. Additionally, having an IE PowerLink cables means you can install updates are they become available as well as read TCU and ECU fault codes.
TAKE-OFF LAG REDUCED
The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce that annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop.

Delivering cold air effectively for power takes more than just an open filter. Employing velocity stack technology like that found in professional Motorpsorts and adapting it for the 3.0T engine, efficiently channels air as quickly as possible. The velocity also functions as a solid mount for the air filter which means no intake pipes rattling or rubbing on heat shields.
This Intake fits Audi 8R SQ5 & Q5 3.0T V6 Supercharged engines without any modification or installation hassles. The install process is simple and can be done quickly with basic tools. YOUR BUILD DESERVES THE BEST
Feed your 2.0T TSI GTI, Jetta, GLI, CC, or A3 with a supply of cold air with this direct-fit high-flow cold air intake kit. This intake features a generously-sized inlet pipe that connects to the OE mass air flow (MAF) sensor. The MAF sensor receives high-velocity air fed directly from a 5" bellmouth. Our high-flow bellmouth is neatly housed in a heat shield, which separates the air filter from the hot under-hood air, allowing only cold air to be drawn into the turbo inlet directly from the front of the car.
STOCK-LIKE DIRECT FIT
This air intake kit provides all the necessary piping and couplers to plumb the intake system from the turbo to the MAF and then to the heat shield. The heat shield installs using the OE grommets for easy maintenance and reliable mounting with no rubbing or interference with other factory parts.
HIGH-FLOW VELOCITY STACK
The air intake utilizes a high-flow bellmouth behind the air filter to deliver as much air as possible. This bellmouth design increases the air velocity to the MAF and pulls cold air equally from all directions into the filter. This bellmouth is securely fastened to the heat shield as a clean pass-through providing a solid mount for the air filter and turbo inlet pipe. You have no worry about the intake pipe moving around and causing damage unlike other intake kits on the market, which simply clamp the filter onto the end of the inlet pipe or MAF. Furthermore, the bellmouth opening allows for a filter with a very large surface area that can support any horsepower goal. The same filter and bellmouth design have been tested to support over 500HP!
THERMAL BLOCKING HEAT SHIELD
The IE heat shield is designed to create a thermal barrier blocking all of the radiant heat from the engine bay. Only cold air from the front of the vehicle is drawn into the filter from the opening in the radiator support keeping air intake temperatures as cold as possible. This allows factory placement of the intake to be used without placing the filter lower in the vehicle where it can be subjected to engine harming road debris or fluid.
DO YOU NEED AN SAI KIT?
The MK5/MK6 2.0T TSI engine has two different engine codes. CBFA engine codes are equipped from the factory with a secondary air injection (SAI) pump that connects to the factory intake box. These engines require a small breather filter for this SAI line when installing an aftermarket intake. CCTA engine codes do not have this SAI pump and will not require this filter. Identify your engine code using the photos below, and add an SAI filter kit above if needed when ordering your intake.
