This intake builds on the airbox design of our pre-facelift RS3 intake while integrating factory dampening design on the intake pipe. The intake pipe with the wide 100mm filter flange tapering to 76mm creating a velocity stack design efficiently feeds cold air into the turbo.
Specially designed air box prevents heat soak, effectively extracting colder induction air. For those that wants the open airbox design, Leyo RS3 intake airbox can be both enclosed or open. No fabrication required for installation, bolts straight onto factory mounting points.

Also known as blow-by, oil vapor is produced under load, spirited driving elevates oil vapor level at an incredible rate, it is then circulated back into the intake tract resulting in carbon buildup of the intake valve, trapped oil residuals in both intake tract and intercooler. Unfiltered recirculated oil vapor will not only diminish performance, but also impose devastating effect to the engine.
Filtration begins immediately as oil vapor enters the uniquely designed LEYO Oil Catch Can filtration system, allowing pressurized oil vapor to enter freely, accelerates condensation, effectively traps oil with specially designed perforated stainless steel plates before cleaner gases recirculates back into the intake tract. We use a heavy duty silicon hose and clamp to maintain optimal high boost flow for stage 1 to stage 3 setups in your performance vehicle with extra WMI Bung.
