IE’s Audi S4 (DL501 S-Tronic) DSG tune is all-inclusive and does not offer expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features and upgrades are included at one low cost. A great deal of sportiness is added to the tune while maintaining factory smoothness and driveability that you love about the S4. More aggressive launches and faster shifts are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Also, expect acceleration and 0-60 times to improve dramatically from a larger useable powerband provided by the higher shift points. REQUIRED FOR SELECT ECU TUNES Required for S4 & S5 Stage 2 dual pulley files, your new transmission tune will no longer lug the engine in drive mode or short shift the larger powerband. Clutch clamping forces are increased so the transmission can safely handle and deliver the increased power and torque. DSG tune requires a matching ECU Tune, do not install on stock ECU tunes. ONE TUNE FOR ALL STAGES IE’s DSG tunes are all-inclusive without any expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features are included from the outset for any level of hardware or ECU Tune Stage, one cost and you are covered for all and any future upgrades from Stage 1 to Stage 2 billion. USER ADJUSTABLE LAUNCH CONTROL The purchase of an IE DSG file grants you access to customization of launch points. With several launch points to choose from you can pick what works best for your setup! Available Launch Control RPMs: 3400 RPM 3600 RPM 3800 RPM 4000 RPM *Some early model B8 DSG TCUs cannot have launch control added to them, as well as some replacement Mechatronics units. Non compatible TCU codes include, but may not be limited to 8K1927156AC and 8K1927156AD. You can use your IE Powerlink tool to check your TCU code. Other DSG tune features will function normally. IE DSG TUNE TECHNICAL FEATURES HIGHER SHIFT POINTS Utilize the whole powerband of your supercharged 3.0T engine without the DSG interfering and shifting early. DRIVE MAPPING REWORKED The B8 and B8.5 S4 is designed to a fault to keep engine rpm extremely low in drive. We completely reworked this, creating a more enthusiast-friendly drive mapping which shifts a bit higher. This eliminates vibration and that constant feeling that you’re lugging the engine. We’ve reworked the downshifting aspect as well, making the transmission much quicker to deliver power when you need it. Thousands of miles of testing were accumulated and a variety of users were polled to come up with this improved drive mode. INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold more torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches will far more aggressive. FLASHED THROUGH OBD-II PORT There’s no need to remove the TCU from the car and it can be flashed in your driveway or through an IE software dealer. Additionally, having an IE PowerLink cables means you can install updates are they become available as well as read TCU and ECU fault codes. TAKE-OFF LAG REDUCED The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce that annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop. MULTIPLE LAUNCH RPMS The purchase of an IE DSG file grants you access to customization of launch points. With several launch points to choose from you can pick what works best for your setup!     DESIGN DETAILS

    IE engineers set out to produce the highest performing cold air intake that looks great and fits like a factory installed part in your A4. The latest in computer design and 3D scanning technology were employed during the development process for a perfect fit and maximum performance.     HIGH-FLOW VELOCITY STACK

    Delivering cold air to your engine is a must for making power. The velocity stack efficiently channels air as quickly as possible into the intake system. The velocity also functions as a solid mount for the air filter which means no intake pipes rattling on heat shields.

    CUSTOM HEAT SHIELD

    IE uses a three piece heat shield which performs and looks great. It effectively channels cold air from the front of the car to the massive performance filter. Furthermore, it eliminates the induction of hot air found in other locations of the engine bay. A second heat shield is mounted above the turbocharger to further protect against power robbing heat off the exhaust and turbo.

    DYNO POWER RESULTS

    The following power result data was collected on our in-house Dynapack hub dyno. Dyno chart is as tested at 4500 feet altitude with SAE corrected numbers. Before and after results are direct back-to-back comparisons on a full bolt-on stage 2 B9 A4 2.0T engine. The only change made to the vehicle between testing is the swap from a stock intake with a new clean air filter to the IE Cold Air Intake Kit. Dyno power results are approximate and may vary from car to car.
