  1. IE Audi 3.0T Supercharger Pulley Upgrade | 4-Bolt Style

    DESCRIPTION

    CTS Turbo is proud to release our 3.0T Supercharger Pulley Upgrade for the Gen 2 3.0T, commonly found in late 2016-2018 B8.5 Audi S4/S5 as well as A6, A7, Q5, SQ5 and Q7

    THIS IS THE BOLT-ON STYLE PULLEY KIT. CHECK ON YOUR CAR FOR COMPATIBILITY.

    CTS pulley is a smaller diameter than stock. Stock pulley size is 63.25, the CTS pulley is 57.3mm; this will increase the speed at which the supercharger spins, increasing the boost pressure output.  Increased boost pressure in conjunction with upgraded ECU software results in a dramatic increase in horsepower and torque throughout the entire powerband. This will not increase stress or excessive wear on supercharger or engine components.

    NOTE: CTS 3.0T Supercharger Pulley Upgrade must be used with appropriate “Stage 2” performance software.
    Stage 2+ performance software (not included) will allow you to achieve maximum boost and power from your 3.0T while safely optimizing air-fuel ratios, timing, and boost pressure bleed off.

    Most Stage 2+ software tunes are compatible with this kit.

    HIGH-FLOW VELOCITY STACK

    Delivering cold air effectively for power takes more than just an open filter. Employing velocity stack technology like that found in professional Motorpsorts and adapting it for the 3.0T engine, efficiently channels air as quickly as possible. The velocity also functions as a solid mount for the air filter which means no intake pipes rattling or rubbing on heat shields.

    Upgrading your ECU tune, pulleys, and other power adders requires airflow beyond that of the factory intake box. IE’s intake feeds an impressive flow of air from the front of the vehicle directly to your supercharger. More cold air flow means more power, especially during the hot summer months. Ditch your stock restrictive airbox for the IE intake System. -Oh, and it sounds FANTASIC too!

    The multi-piece heat shield not only looks great, but it built to perform by effectively channeling cold air from the front of the car to the massive air filter. The location, shapes, and angles of the heatshield are no accident, these are all designed to protect the intake from hot air surrounding the engine bay.

IE’s Audi S4 (DL501 S-Tronic) DSG tune is all-inclusive and does not offer expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features and upgrades are included at one low cost. A great deal of sportiness is added to the tune while maintaining factory smoothness and driveability that you love about the S4. More aggressive launches and faster shifts are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Also, expect acceleration and 0-60 times to improve dramatically from a larger useable powerband provided by the higher shift points. REQUIRED FOR SELECT ECU TUNES Required for S4 & S5 Stage 2 dual pulley files, your new transmission tune will no longer lug the engine in drive mode or short shift the larger powerband. Clutch clamping forces are increased so the transmission can safely handle and deliver the increased power and torque. DSG tune requires a matching ECU Tune, do not install on stock ECU tunes. ONE TUNE FOR ALL STAGES IE’s DSG tunes are all-inclusive without any expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features are included from the outset for any level of hardware or ECU Tune Stage, one cost and you are covered for all and any future upgrades from Stage 1 to Stage 2 billion. USER ADJUSTABLE LAUNCH CONTROL The purchase of an IE DSG file grants you access to customization of launch points. With several launch points to choose from you can pick what works best for your setup! Available Launch Control RPMs: 3400 RPM 3600 RPM 3800 RPM 4000 RPM *Some early model B8 DSG TCUs cannot have launch control added to them, as well as some replacement Mechatronics units. Non compatible TCU codes include, but may not be limited to 8K1927156AC and 8K1927156AD. You can use your IE Powerlink tool to check your TCU code. Other DSG tune features will function normally. IE DSG TUNE TECHNICAL FEATURES HIGHER SHIFT POINTS Utilize the whole powerband of your supercharged 3.0T engine without the DSG interfering and shifting early. DRIVE MAPPING REWORKED The B8 and B8.5 S4 is designed to a fault to keep engine rpm extremely low in drive. We completely reworked this, creating a more enthusiast-friendly drive mapping which shifts a bit higher. This eliminates vibration and that constant feeling that you’re lugging the engine. We’ve reworked the downshifting aspect as well, making the transmission much quicker to deliver power when you need it. Thousands of miles of testing were accumulated and a variety of users were polled to come up with this improved drive mode. INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold more torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches will far more aggressive. FLASHED THROUGH OBD-II PORT There’s no need to remove the TCU from the car and it can be flashed in your driveway or through an IE software dealer. Additionally, having an IE PowerLink cables means you can install updates are they become available as well as read TCU and ECU fault codes. TAKE-OFF LAG REDUCED The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce that annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop. MULTIPLE LAUNCH RPMS The purchase of an IE DSG file grants you access to customization of launch points. With several launch points to choose from you can pick what works best for your setup! FLAWLESS OPERATION WITH IE ECU TUNES The IE DSG Tune and ECU Tunes were developed side by side on our in-house dynamometer.
