    CTS Turbo Blankets isolate the heat produced by your IHI IS12/IS20/IS38 turbocharger with the purpose of reducing turbo lag, cooler air intake temperatures, protecting and prolonging engine components, and giving a boost in horsepower.  In keeping the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger and away from the cool side of the turbocharger and the intake path, more oxygen per unit volume reaches the engine, and thus, more power.

    This turbo blanket fits all IHI turbos found on MQB platform cars

    IS12 Turbos found on MK7 1.8TSI Golf and 8V Audi A3 FWD

    IS20 Turbos found on MK7 GTI and 8V Audi A3 Quattro

    DESCRIPTION

    CTS Turbo is happy to release our high flow turbo outlet pipe kit for MQB vehicles equipped with BOSS V3 kits or hybrid turbochargers. This part is perfect to compliment the 2.5″ turbo outlet on the BOSS V3 kit, making the installation seamless.

    The CTS Turbo 2.5″ high flow turbo outlet pipe kit replaces all the factory charge piping between the turbocharger compressor housing and intercooler.

    HOW IS YOUR SPLITTER SO STRONG?

    Each splitter is developed to become an integral part of your stock body kit, giving it unrivalled rigidity and strength so it can absorb scrapes and protect your bumper.

    WHY DO YOU USE POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITE FOR YOUR PRODUCTS?

    Strong, impact-resistant, doesn't corrode or chip, and has excellent abrasion resistance (eg. scraping on driveways!)

    WHAT ABOUT CARBON FIBRE?

    As strong and light as carbon fibre is, it cracks on impact or when under load and/or stress. Clearcoat will eventually fade or crack, becoming undesirable.

    USE OF ABS PLASTIC

    Please note that although all our precision-made ABS accessories are extremely strong and durable, they do not hold the same shatterproof label as our 10mm thick polyethylene composite splitters. The accessories are manufactured in ABS with the intention that they will be lighter, bolt-on attachments that will improve aesthetics and are easily replaceable if they become damaged from varying road conditions.

Our splitters are designed to fit perfectly to your stock bodykit and are proven as the most durable on the market. Details: Why is our splitter so strong? The secret is in the 4 specifically designed stainless-steel brackets that we hide on the inside of the bumper. Strategically placed discreetly and out of sight, it creates the ideal surface area for mounting while reinforcing the bumper as a whole. Once installed, the splitter becomes an integral part of the bumper giving it unrivalled rigidity and strength taking on scrapes whilst protecting your bumper. Fitment is perfect. We have designed a new curved Aerospacer which is specific to this splitter. These new Aerospacers follow the contour of the bumper and bolted to down perpendicularly to create a brace that reinforces the splitter and spreads impact forces evenly across the splitter. The pre-installed brass thread will accept our adjustable front winglets and extensions, create your own style with our bolt-on accessories which are sold separately.
