    DESCRIPTION

    CTS Turbo is proud to release our 3.0T Supercharger Pulley Upgrade for the Gen 2 3.0T, commonly found in late 2016-2018 B8.5 Audi S4/S5 as well as A6, A7, Q5, SQ5 and Q7

    THIS IS THE BOLT-ON STYLE PULLEY KIT. CHECK ON YOUR CAR FOR COMPATIBILITY.

    CTS pulley is a smaller diameter than stock. Stock pulley size is 63.25, the CTS pulley is 57.3mm; this will increase the speed at which the supercharger spins, increasing the boost pressure output.  Increased boost pressure in conjunction with upgraded ECU software results in a dramatic increase in horsepower and torque throughout the entire powerband. This will not increase stress or excessive wear on supercharger or engine components.

    NOTE: CTS 3.0T Supercharger Pulley Upgrade must be used with appropriate “Stage 2” performance software.
    Stage 2+ performance software (not included) will allow you to achieve maximum boost and power from your 3.0T while safely optimizing air-fuel ratios, timing, and boost pressure bleed off.

    Most Stage 2+ software tunes are compatible with this kit.

    Description:

    The IE supercharger pulley for 3.0T V6 Audi engines is a great mod to extract more power form your supercharger. Capable of up to 492HP on it's own with a IE stage 2 single pulley tune, or combine with IE 188mm crank pulley (IEBAVJ7) (Stage 2 dual pulley) for up to a massive 548HP! These power gains are achieved by spinning the supercharger unit significantly faster than stock for higher boost levels with pulleys and proper ECU tuning.

    SUPERCHARGER PULLEY

    IE's Supercharger Pulley Upgrade for Audi 3.0T TFSI Engines found in B8/B8.5 S4, S5, Q5, SQ5 and C7 A6, A7 models increasing the supercharger RPM throughout the full powerband. At redline supercharger speed is increased by 1800 RPM. The IE pulley is reduces the size to 57.5mm in diameter, making it one of most aggressive and powerful on the market.

      INSTALLATION

      The factory and IE supercharger pulleys are a press-fit design. Installation requires removal of the stock pulley using an IE pulley puller tool and properly heating the new IE pulley. Due to the hardware and tools required, professional installation is recommended.

      TECHNICAL DETAILS 

      A catch can is utilized to capture all of the oil fumes that are omitted from the valve cover breather, removing the faulty factory oil separator in the process. This not only removes the oil mist that is found everywhere but will greatly help reduce carbon buildup on the intake valves, a common problem on FSI engines, which relates to power loss and poor drivability. Our kit includes the necessary valve cover breather adapter to remove the separator and plumb the catch can using the two included -10AN hoses. Using our catch can kit, you are not required to remove any of the emissions systems or vent the catch can to the atmosphere, which can cause oil mist build-up in your engine bay. Our breather plate simply installs in place of the factory plastic breather plate located on top of the valve cover, while the catch can mounts to a custom bracket easily accessible on the passenger side of the vehicle.

      This kit uses the Integrated Engineering billet recirculating catch can, which features our state-of-the-art baffle system to catch the oil mist and not let it pass back into the turbo inlet. This flawless catch can is fully serviceable, easily disassembling if needed. Draining the catch can is simple with the use of the included T handle drain valve, no tools necessary.       This IE catch can kit uses a secure mount on the OE engine mount bracket to secure the catch can. Many aftermarket motor mounts delete this mounting location and will require you to custom mount the catch can itself.       Catch can kits are designed for warm weather climates only. If you live in an area with sub-freezing temperatures in winter months, extra precaution must be taken as condensation in the catch can and lines can freeze and cause pressure to build up in the crankcase.       This valve is designed to fit the FSI and TSI engines of the VAG group (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda) listed below, including the 2011-2013 2.0l engine using the IHI Turbo.

      Note: This will ONLY fit the 1.4 turbo engines up to early 2013, where the turbo is mounted at the front of the engine bay. It will not fit engine codes CMBA & CXSB. We designed the slots in the body to cover a large surface area, allowing for a quick release of air, resulting in a unique sounding dumpvalve.

       

      This upgrade/replacement for your original equipment valve integrates seamlessly with the OEM electronics. Using a wiring harness and solenoid, both tested for each specific application, you can confidentially fit a Forge part knowing that there will be no fault codes, check engine lights, or performance issues with the vehicle!

      Another particularly unique feature of this product is the included intake manifold tap used to source a vacuum reference for the operation of the valve. This piece also has two other available provisions from which an intake manifold reference can be taken. These extra manifold references can be used for a boost gauge signal, and even a water/meth injection trigger where applicable.

      The OEM valve uses a rubber diaphragm and a plastic housing. Both of these materials, but especially the rubber is prone to failure. The rubber can stiffen and go brittle due to the heat from the engine, resulting in diaphragm splitting and boost leak.

      Our valve uses full billet alloy construction with a piston based internal design, meaning the issues with the OEM can never happen with ours! To give you even more peace of mind, we made the internals of our valve serviceable. We recommend doing this every 3 years or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first. However, if you don’t want to service your valve yourself you can order the kit and ship your valve back to us and we will carry out the service free of charge! Simply contact us to arrange the service!

      The OEM valve internals can also fail if you have your vehicle mapped as the rubber diaphragm is not always strong enough to cope with the increased boost pressure. We build our valves with a spring matched to the original pressure of the car, but include in the kit a spring strong enough to cope with a stage one remap. If you decide to increase the power even more you can guarantee the reliability of our valve by using this spring tuning kit!

      This valve was designed by our highly skilled engineers using CAD software to ensure that it will fit with every listed compatible vehicle with ease! 

      It is particularly well suited to the B7 and B8 chassis Audi A4 and A5 with the 2.0T engine. The valve mounting location on these vehicles is positioned particularly close to the frame rail of the chassis. Compared to competitors our valve has a much shorter overall installed height.

      This is our piston version of our very popular solenoid driven valve for the 2013-on VAG 1.8 TSI/TFSI engine (US codes CPKA and CPRA) and 2.0 TSI/TFSI engine (Euro code CNTA, CHHA, CHHB, CHHC, CZPA, CJXB and CJXC;US codes CPLA and CPPA)  including Golf MK7 R. This valve is a full replacement atmospheric blow-off valve (i.e. noisy) that integrates seamlessly with the OEM electronics and results in no detriment in performance, and absolutely NO fault codes or check engine lights, which isn’t something that can be said of our competition!

      Not only do you get the famous Forge blow off valve sound but this valve also increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it could cause premature failure, especially on tuned engines and modified vehicles.

      Like our full replacement recirculating valve option, this valve is fully engineered to remedy the failure issues experienced with the OEM solenoid valves when their diaphragm may rupture which results in a boost leak. The later revision OEM valves have a longer lift but ultimately the plastic brittles and in extreme circumstances, parts of the plastic can break off. Our valve uses full billet alloy construction with a piston based internal design that provides for significantly improved reliability over the OEM valves along with lightning-fast response. It has also been proven in cars running over 600bhp!

      This valve has a very short overall installed height, which enables fitment of this atmospheric valve into the tight space between the turbo and the inlet hose from the airfilter, older larger valves and sandwich plates will not fit this engine.

      This IE catch can kit uses a secure mount on the OE engine mount bracket to secure the catch can. Many aftermarket motor mounts delete this mounting location and will require you to custom mount the catch can itself. If you are running aftermarket motor mounts, please verify if you have the mounting provision before purchasing.

      COLD WEATHER CLIMATES 

      Catch can kits are designed for warm weather climates only. If you live in an area with sub-freezing temperatures in winter months, extra precaution must be taken as condensation in the catch can and lines can freeze and cause pressure to build up in the crankcase. We recommend checking the contents of the catch can frequently or removing the system entirely during cold winter months. Integrated Engineering is not responsible for any damage caused by improper servicing of the catch can.
