The Forge Motorsport Turbo Blankets are designed to isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger. Designed by the Forge development team for the EA888 TSI vehicles, the Forge turbo blanket is designed to assist in the protection and prolonged life of the engine components.
The unique design will assist in reducing turbo lag and produce cooler air intake temperatures, The Forge turbo blanket will lose its flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures, so once fitted it shouldnot be routinely removed as you will likely damage the blanket.
Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path. More oxygen per unit volume reaches the engine, therefore giving more power. This product also fits the vehicles with the following turbochargers:

The Forge Motorsport high flow intake hose for the MQB platform 2.0 engines, eliminates the highly restrictive plastic inlet pipe, and replaces it with our smooth bore multi-ply silicone hose which increases air flow, improving efficiency and performance. This equates to increases of up to 10hp which is a remarkable gain for an easy to fit bolt on modification.

The high flow male alloy coupler is a bayonet type, rotated to the locked position before fixing in place by positioning the hose on the alloy coupler and tightening the hose clamps at both ends of the hose, anchoring the alloy coupler in position to complete the installation.
The Forge silicone hose in this kit has been designed to include an expensive inner liner of modified silicone known as Fluorosilicone.This means the hoses are suitable to be used with either modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) but more importantly for this application, air containing oil mist. The construction of the hoses has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments, and will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically.The use of a Fluorosilicone liner ensures that Forge silicone hoses are the clear market leader.

A set of four boost hoses and air box coupler hose for the Audi RS3 and Audi TTRS - Please note the airbox hose (centre of the kit image) does not fit the DNWA and DAZA engine codes. This hose kit includes the intercooler inlet and outlet hoses (two largest hoses seen in the kit image), throttle body hose located at feed into alloy inlet manifold elbow (straight reducer seen in the kit image), and turbo outlet hose (two smallest hoses in the kit image, one being an alternative for the facelift 8V models).
The Forge silicone hoses in this kit are Fluorosilicone lined to prevent oil vapour penetration throughout the inner hose wall. Fluorosilicone lining also renders the kit suitable to be used with either modern long-life coolants or Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.).
