Kompact VAG V2 Plumb Back has been specifically to suit the 2.0L VAG engine Unlike the standard, plastic valves that use un-reinforced diaphragms and are known to crack under increased boost, the new Kompact VAG V2 Plumb Back uses O-Ring sealed piston which, coupled with it's billet aluminium construction give it over 30PSI boost handling capability. Included with each Kompact VAG V2 Plumb Back kit: Model specific valve, Mounting screws and Spring clamps.

The existing Kompact Plumb Back for these applications is ideal for those who prefer the quieter operation of a recirculating BOV, while the Type 5 is ideal for more highly modified cars running increased boost levels.
The VAG Type 5 Smart Port Diverter Valve features innovative new drive-by-wire friendly staging technology. This eliminates compressor surge at both low throttle and high engine load while smoothly integrating with factory engine mapping. Turbosmart's new Kompact Shortie Blow-Off Valve for VAG 2.0 TSI engines takes performance to the next level. These valves are a high performance replacement for the standard diverter valve fitted to the current 2.0 TSI range. Unlike the standard valve's plastic construction, they are machined from aircraft grade aluminium, and bolt straight up to the factory location, offering all the technology from Turbosmart's race-bred BOV range in an OEM-replacement package. The Dual Port offers a 50/50 split between recirculating and vent-to-atmosphere, for quiet operation at low boost, and the high performance sound associated with vent-to-atmosphere BOVs at higher boost. The Dual Port also recirculates enough air to keep the car's ECU happy. Turbosmart's Kompact Shortie does not leak, bleed boost pressure or struggle with increased boost on tuned vehicles. The Plumb Back is a 100% recirculating blow-off valve, routing all vented air back into the intake. This valve operates at a similar level of volume to the standard valve, avoiding unwanted attention. Turbosmart's Kompact Shortie does not leak, bleed boost pressure or struggle with increased boost on tuned vehicles.
