UNLOCK STAGE 2 POWER:
Equipping your MK5 or MK6 2.0T engine with an IE catted downpipe delivers additional horsepower, torque, and responsiveness when coupled with a matching Stage 2 or K04 turbo upgrade ECU tune. These significant power gains are added through the entire RPM band by allowing the turbocharger to flow freely through the 3" downpipe, high-flow catalytic converter, and mid-pipe. Careful tuning of the added sound from freeing up exhaust flow rewards you with an aggressive exhaust growl every time you touch the accelerator while minimizing cabin drone.
All IE exhaust systems are designed in-house using state of the art digital scanning for a perfect fit and manufactured from 1.5mm thick wall 304 stainless steel offering a lifetime of performance and fun.
SOUND TUNING:
Give your car an aggressive motorsport sound that will keep you addicted to the throttle pedal without annoying exhaust drone. Engineered with thick-wall tubing and precise bends the downpipe opens up an unrestricted exhaust with a tuned sound without the "tinny" drone common on cheap catless downpipe options.
HIGH-FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER (CAT):
IE's performance downpipe for the MK5 & MK6 2.0T engines include a high-flow 200 cell per inch metal matrix catalyst (CAT) on the mid pipe section. This included CAT greatly reduces emissions output and unwanted offensive smells common on all catless systems, without losing horsepower! Have all the benefits of catless performance and none of the drawbacks with the IE high-flow CAT system
BOLT-ON INSTALLATION:
The IE downpipe replaces the majority of the factory exhaust from the turbocharger all the way back to the factory rear exhaust just before the axles. The 16mm turbo flange bolts to the stock or a K04 turbocharger. The downpipe section includes a new mount bracket and utilizes the factory mount points along with a tough interlock core flex section, this allows engine and chassis movement without stressing or cracking your downpipe. Easily connect the downpipe and catted mid-pipe using the simple and strong v-band connection. Finally, the mid pipe mounts to the stock rear exhaust with the included 3" to 60mm slip-fit sleeve, or easily adapt it to your cat-back exhaust of choice. In-house digitally scanned and designed for an exact fit and includes all hardware to make the install easy and straight forward.

PRODUCT DETAILS
IE billet aluminum valve covers for the 2.0T FSI EA113 (timing belt driven) engines are a direct replacement for your factory valve cover for a clean updated look over the stock plastic valve cover. Designed as a perfect solution for a show-ready look or the base for your custom catch can project.
MACHINED DESIGN
Machined in-house from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum for an attractive one piece design with a matching oil filler cap to finish off the look. The IE billet valve cover is machined to accept the factory valve cover gasket, so there is no worry of oil leaks.
FOR USE WITH CUSTOM CATCH CAN SETUPS ONLY
This valve cover design completely removes the factory PCV breather setup and will require a custom catch can kit or breather setup. IE complete catch can kits for the billet valve cover are available separately for select models (located in required hardware tab). To make setting up a custom breather or catch can kit easy, this valve cover features a single -10an breather outlet providing a simple start for a variety of fittings or hose ends. The breather outlet is located above an integrated baffle system to reduce oil escaping the breather outlet. These baffles are hand welded into the valve cover, ensuring they will not fail or fall into the cylinder head.

The factory plastic valve cover has an integrated evap line crossing through the center of the valve cover. The IE billet valve cover does not have this vacuum line running through the center, and requires The IE Evap Crossover Tube Relocation Kit. CATCH CAN KIT FOR BILLET VALVE COVERThe IE billet valve cover replaces the factory breather setup for a single -10AN breather outlet requiring you to run a custom catch can kit setup. IE has taken the leg work out of piecing together a catch can kit for transverse mounted 2.0T FSI engines commonly found in VW MK6 Golf R, MK5 GTI, Jetta, GLI and Audi MK2 TT, TTS, and A3 among others. Eliminate unnecessary play in your shifter with these billet shift cable end bushings. These two piece bushings are CNC machined in-house from 6061 aircraft aluminum with a special bronze inner bushing. They directly replace the rubber factory cable bushings that deteriorate over time causing excessive play in the shifter. When the factory bushings are worn out, shifts become less precise, causing you to miss shifts. Not only will you be missing shifts but, by not fully engaging gears in the transmission, you can even strip the teeth right off the gears. Includes a total of four bushings.
