As strong and light as Carbon fibre is, it CRACKS on impact or when under load and/or stress. Clear coat will eventually fades & cracks and become undesirable. Use of ABS Plastic Please note that although all our precision-made ABS accessories are extremely strong and durable, they do not hold the same shatterproof label as our 10mm thick polyethylene composite splitters. The accessories are manufactured in ABS with the intention that they will be lighter, bolt-on attachments that will improve aesthetics and are easily replaceable if they become damaged from varying road conditions.

Installation is simple with pre-drilled holes so there is no guesswork. We have machined out a pocket for the OEM Golf side skirt to sit snug into - this way our side skirt splitters will mount up flush with the stock body kit once installed on the car.

We also have designed other visual prompts to show where the side skirt splitter aligns with the OEM side skirt and Golf GTI chassis.

The pre-installed brass thread allow for installation of our MK6 Golf GTI adjustable side winglets which are sold separately as a bolt-on accessory to suit our side skirt splitters.

Adjustments can be made anywhere between 5mm-20mm on each side increasing the overall width up to 40mm!

The MK6 Golf GTI front splitter winglets are only compatible with Flow Designs MK6 GTI front lip splitter - designed to be an adjustable direct bolt-on accessory.
