WHAT IS THE SMART BOX?

 Varex Smart Box is a control device with patent pending technology that let the user to manually and automatically adjust the exhaust sound level of the Varex exhaust.

The users can operate and make change to the settings of the Smart Box via an elegantly designed Smartphone App.

The connections between the Smart Boxes and the smart phones are via the latest Bluetooth® technology, which provides an exceptionally reliable and smooth user experience.

Smart Box provides the following functions:

• MANUAL MODE:

  • Precise manual adjustment of VAREX exhaust valve positions; 
    

  • Custom pre-set of VAREX exhaust valve positions;    
    

                

• MATRIX MODE:(ONLY WORK WITH VEHICLES EQUIPED WITH OBDII)

  • Automatic control of VAREX exhaust valve positions based on real time information of RPM,Throttle, and Speed.

At CTS Turbo we are proud to announce our new air intake system for the VW MK7 & MK7.5 Golf/GTI, MK7 & MK7.5 Golf R and facelift Audi A3/S3 is ready! This is the largest intake available, and it is excellent for tuned vehicles that require the extra air flow. 

The OEM air scoop works in conjunction with our sealed airbox to seamlesly force cold air into our air intake system.  Air then flows through our 3.5" high flow air filter, which utilizes an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing.  Our 3.5" CNC mandrel bent aluminum intake pipe allows for smooth entry of cold air directly into the the engine, minimizing turbulence from unnecessary connections. All of the components included in the CTS air intake system work flawlessly together to provide increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band and an aggressive race inspired sound.

Peak power gains range from 10-15HP on an otherwise stock vehicle. We recommend disabling your Soundaktor (noise amplifier) to fully enjoy the true sound of your motor and remove excessive drone caused by the device.

Product Details The ECS Billet Aluminum Manifold Port Boost Tap Kit conveniently adds three boost / vacuum ports to your Gen3 engine for any of your specific needs. Located on the left side of the intake manifold within the unused side intake port, this location provides a strong pneumatic signal and allows for an installation. Through multiple design revisions and product testing, our team of engineers found that other methods of acquiring a manifold signal, such as spacing the MAP / IAT sensor on top of the intake manifold, lead to skewed data being transmitted to the ECU. We found that intake air temperatures were reading lower (15-20° F at WOT), ignition timing was off (as much as -5°) and air /fuel ratio was richer (+1.0 point by 5,000 RPM). This directly translated into engine power dropping by as much as 6 WHP on an untuned vehicle! You can be certain that all critical data is not affected and your engine's ECU has all of its valuable information to properly adjust timing and fuel with our leading edge design! The factory turbo outlet pipe is constructed from flimsy plastic and is quite narrow, which results in an extreme airflow restriction. The CTS Turbo high flow turbo outlet pipe kit is constructed from mandrel-bent 60mm aluminum tubing. A custom 5-ply silicon coupler makes installation simple!
