DESCRIPTION

The Volkswagen Golf R (Mk7.5) and the other Golf series (GTis and Golf Rs) has been one of the most popular hatchbacks in the car community. The famous EA888 engine is now at its 3rd generation, with its 2.0L turbo-charged engine, it continues to be a car with great tuning potential. The iPE Exhaust system is designed and engineered to enhance gas flow and maximize performance gain by 23HP and 39.2 Nm of torque. Highlighting the angry sound from the EA888 Gen3. This iPE exhaust system is handcrafted with T304 Stainless Steel to reduce weight by 13%(-4.0kg).



iPE Valvetronic system for the Volkswagen Golf R (Mk7.5) allows users to adjust the exhaust note through OBD II Hand Gesture Control Sensor or Bluetooth Remote Control Module. Furthermore, we also offer various motorsport-inspired exhaust tip upgrade options.

IE DSG TUNE TECHNICAL FEATURES HIGHER SHIFT POINTS Utilize the whole powerband of your turbocharged Gen 3 TSI with IS20 Turbo engine without the DSG interfering and shifting early. DRIVE MAPPING REWORKED The MQB 2.0 TSI DSG is designed to a fault to keep engine rpm extremely low in drive. We completely reworked this, creating a more enthusiast-friendly drive mapping which shifts a bit higher. This eliminates vibration and that constant feeling that you’re lugging the engine. We’ve reworked the downshifting aspect as well, making the transmission much quicker to deliver power when you need it. Thousands of miles of testing were accumulated and a variety of users were polled to come up with this improved drive mode. INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold more torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches will far more aggressive. FLASHED THROUGH OBD-II PORT There’s no need to remove the TCU from the car and it can be flashed in your driveway or through an IE software dealer. Additionally, having an IE PowerLink cables means you can install updates are they become available as well as read TCU and ECU fault codes. TAKE-OFF LAG REDUCED The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce that annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop. KICK DOWN REMOVED IN MANUAL MODE The kick down switch is disabled in manual shift mode, ensuring you stay in the gear you’ve selected, even during hard launches or over bumpy terrain FLAWLESS OPERATION WITH IE ECU TUNES The IE DSG Tune and ECU Tune were developed side by side on our in-house dynamometer. iPE will not be held responsible for any damages to the vehicle, and warranties on our products will be voided if the damages occurred due to improper installation.If you have any trouble installing the system please contact your authorized dealer!

The manufacturer, importer or dealer shall not be liable for any incidental damage including personal injury or any other damages caused by improper installation or operation of the iPE exhaust system. When installing the iPE exhaust system be careful that the exhaust system does not touch other parts sensitive to high temperature.



3. iPE makes no representation or warranties with regard to damage caused by the improper installation, use and maintenance of the iPE exhaust system. The warranty is limited to defects recognized by our technical department and of normal use only, and excludes items subject to normal wear and tear(gaskets and damping wool). The warranty is voided in case of accidents, modifications, improper or competition uses.

Turbosmart's new Kompact Shortie Blow-Off Valve for VAG 2.0 TSI engines takes performance to the next level. These valves are a high performance replacement for the standard diverter valve fitted to the current 2.0 TSI range. Unlike the standard valve's plastic construction, they are machined from aircraft grade aluminium, and bolt straight up to the factory location, offering all the technology from Turbosmart's race-bred BOV range in an OEM-replacement package. The Dual Port offers a 50/50 split between recirculating and vent-to-atmosphere, for quiet operation at low boost, and the high performance sound associated with vent-to-atmosphere BOVs at higher boost. The Dual Port also recirculates enough air to keep the car's ECU happy. Turbosmart's Kompact Shortie does not leak, bleed boost pressure or struggle with increased boost on tuned vehicles. It also completely eliminates compressor surge, allowing the turbo to operate to its full potential, and for longer.

Turbosmart's new Kompact Shortie Blow-Off Valve for the Mk7 takes performance to the next level. These valves are a high performance replacement for the Golf's standard diverter valve. Unlike the standard valve's plastic construction, they are machined from aircraft grade aluminium, and bolt straight up to the factory location, offering all the technology from Turbosmart's race-bred BOV range in an OEM-replacement package. The Plumb Back is a 100% recirculating blow-off valve, routing all vented air back into the intake. This valve operates at a similar level of volume to the standard valve, avoiding unwanted attention. Turbosmart's Kompact Shortie does not leak, bleed boost pressure or struggle with increased boost on tuned vehicles. It also completely eliminates compressor surge, allowing the Golf's turbo to operate to its full potential, and for longer.
