FAQ HOW IS YOUR SPLITTER SO STRONG? Each splitter is developed to become an integral part of your stock body kit, giving it unrivalled rigidity and strength so it can absorb scrapes and protect your bumper. WHY DO YOU USE POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITE FOR YOUR PRODUCTS? Strong, impact-resistant, doesn't corrode or chip, and has excellent abrasion resistance (eg. scraping on driveways!) WHAT ABOUT CARBON FIBRE? As strong and light as carbon fibre is, it cracks on impact or when under load and/or stress. Clearcoat will eventually fade or crack, becoming undesirable. USE OF ABS PLASTIC Please note that although all our precision-made ABS accessories are extremely strong and durable, they do not hold the same shatterproof label as our 10mm thick polyethylene composite splitters. The accessories are manufactured in ABS with the intention that they will be lighter, bolt-on attachments that will improve aesthetics and are easily replaceable if they become damaged from varying road conditions.

VW has encountered a problem with the FSI camshaft and cam follower that could lead to damage to your engine's cylinder head.

This small part can play quite a big role in your engine's well-being. It conveys the movement of your camshaft into power for the high pressure fuel pump by riding directly on the camshaft lobe.

 If it becomes worn to the point of breaking it can cause permanent damage to the camshaft, fuel pump, or both. It could also send metal particles into your cylinder head which can cause damage to moving parts. Without replacement, it is common for followers to have holes worn through them.

Replacing this follower as a form of preventative maintenance can save you from spending even more money and time replacing your fuel pump or camshaft from damage caused by a worn follower.

These valves are a high performance replacement for the standard diverter valve fitted to the current 2.0 TSI range. Unlike the standard valve's plastic construction, they are machined from aircraft grade aluminium, and bolt straight up to the factory location, offering all the technology from Turbosmart's race-bred BOV range in an OEM-replacement package. The Dual Port offers a 50/50 split between recirculating and vent-to-atmosphere, for quiet operation at low boost, and the high performance sound associated with vent-to-atmosphere BOVs at higher boost.
