WHAT DOES THE IE AUDI B9 ECU TUNE DO?

Your ECU (Engine Control Module) is a computer loaded with maps to control the operating conditions of your Audi 2.0T engine. The factory calibration is designed to function with stock installed hardware, meet new car regulated standards, and de-powered to not compete with higher performance models. The Integrated Engineering MK5/MK6 FDS intercooler system was built from the ground up to offer the ultimate in performance for your vehicle. When increasing the power output of your engine it is extremely important to ensure it has the proper cooling to match. It packs a very large intercooler core into the space available, a full 54% larger than the OEM core. This large core delivers cool air to the engine under all circumstances, increasing power and torque and simultaneously reducing heat soak.  

When you begin modifying your VW MK7/Audi MK3 Golf R, GTI, A3, or S3 it will become necessary to upgrade the intercooler. Once upgrades such as ECU tuning, exhaust systems, and turbo upgrades are introduced, intake air temperatures begin to rise, resulting in massive power loss.

At CTS Turbo we are proud to announce our new air intake system for the transverse 2.0T FSI EA113 VW/Audi range of vehicles.

The air scoop works in conjunction with our sealed airbox to seamlessly force cold air into our 2.75″ air intake system.  Air then flows through our high flow cone air filter, which utilizes an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing.  Our CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe allows for smooth entry of cold air into the engine providing peak power gains ranging from 9-15WHP. By using a factory MAF position, you can be sure that fuel trims will remain perfect.

All of the components included in the CTS air intake system work flawlessly together to provide increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band and an aggressive race-inspired sound.

This intake kit is designed to be compatible with our FSI EA113 BOSS kits; intake pipe features 2x 1/8″ bungs and 1x 1/2″ bung for easy installation of BOSS kits. Plugs are included.
