The Integrated Engineering MK5/MK6 FDS intercooler system was built from the ground up to offer the ultimate in performance for your vehicle. When increasing the power output of your engine it is extremely important to ensure it has the proper cooling to match. It packs a very large intercooler core into the space available, a full 54% larger than the OEM core. This large core delivers cool air to the engine under all circumstances, increasing power and torque and simultaneously reducing heat soak.  

One of the most common failures on the 2.0T FSI engine is the factory pressure-relief valve. These valves are in place to recirculate crankcase gases into the intake manifold once they open. Although this works fine for a few thousand miles, they begin to leak over time and cause boost to go past the valve into the valve cover. This not only causes an oily mess in the engine bay from crankcase pressure, but a rough idle, fuel economy decline and boost loss. With boost pressure far below where it should be, it is common to notice significant power losses and poor drivability.

IE’s Audi S4 (DL501 S-Tronic) DSG tune is all-inclusive and does not offer expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features and upgrades are included at one low cost. A great deal of sportiness is added to the tune while maintaining factory smoothness and driveability that you love about the S4. More aggressive launches and faster shifts are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Also, expect acceleration and 0-60 times to improve dramatically from a larger useable powerband provided by the higher shift points. REQUIRED FOR SELECT ECU TUNES Required for S4 & S5 Stage 2 dual pulley files, your new transmission tune will no longer lug the engine in drive mode or short shift the larger powerband. Clutch clamping forces are increased so the transmission can safely handle and deliver the increased power and torque. DSG tune requires a matching ECU Tune, do not install on stock ECU tunes. USER ADJUSTABLE LAUNCH CONTROL The purchase of an IE DSG file grants you access to customization of launch points. With several launch points to choose from you can pick what works best for your setup! Available Launch Control RPMs: 3400 RPM 3600 RPM 3800 RPM 4000 RPM *Some early model B8 DSG TCUs cannot have launch control added to them, as well as some replacement Mechatronics units. Non compatible TCU codes include, but may not be limited to 8K1927156AC and 8K1927156AD. You can use your IE Powerlink tool to check your TCU code. Other DSG tune features will function normally. IE DSG TUNE TECHNICAL FEATURES HIGHER SHIFT POINTS Utilize the whole powerband of your supercharged 3.0T engine without the DSG interfering and shifting early. DRIVE MAPPING REWORKED The B8 and B8.5 S4 is designed to a fault to keep engine rpm extremely low in drive. We completely reworked this, creating a more enthusiast-friendly drive mapping which shifts a bit higher. This eliminates vibration and that constant feeling that you’re lugging the engine. We’ve reworked the downshifting aspect as well, making the transmission much quicker to deliver power when you need it. Thousands of miles of testing were accumulated and a variety of users were polled to come up with this improved drive mode. INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold more torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches will far more aggressive. FLASHED THROUGH OBD-II PORT There’s no need to remove the TCU from the car and it can be flashed in your driveway or through an IE software dealer. Additionally, having an IE PowerLink cables means you can install updates are they become available as well as read TCU and ECU fault codes. TAKE-OFF LAG REDUCED The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce that annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop.
