OVERVIEW
This plug and play harness kit is required for IE TrueFlex ECU Tunes for VW and Audi MQB Gen 3 engines. This includes everything necessary for the flex-fuel sensor to send real-time data from your fuel system to the ECU and adjust for any content mix from 91 pump to full E85 automatically.

INSTALLATION
This harness kit is fully assembled to proper lengths and includes everything needed to install in a clean and factory-like install. Disconnecting and cutting of factory soft fuel lines is required and should be completed with great care or by a professional.
TrueFlex is currently available for 2015-2018 MK7 GTI & A3 2.0T W/IS38. Stage 1 & 2, Golf R/S3, and 2019+ model years are coming soon!

KIT DETAILS
This complete filter kit uses a 3 step approach to combat harsh climates. The filter has been increased from a 6 pleat construction to 8 pleats to increase cotton density. The cotton pleats are then treated with a penetrating filter oil to further catch and trap particulates. As a final measure, a pre-filter sock adds a final layer of protection over the filter. Together, these 3 barriers offer superior filtration for your intake system over our standard performance air filter.

RECHARGING
As the air filter does its job of effectively catching more particulates, eventually it will have to be cleaned and maintained. We recommend washing your cotton filter in water with a little Dawn dish soap, rinsing thoroughly, and allowing it to completely air dry. To replace the oil, any off-the-shelf filter oil kit from your local auto parts supply chain can be used. Do not over-oil the filter, a little goes a long way.

ADDED DISPLACEMENT
Your HPFP is an integral part of the MQB platform direct injection (DI) system and provides exceptionally high-pressure fuel (exceeding 2900psi) to the injectors. When running turbo upgrades or ethanol fuel, the stock HPFP internal volume becomes the limiting factor when increasing power. IE’s HPFP internals install into your factory pump housing and increase the bore and piston size of the pump internals, allowing more flow, delivering more fuel, and allowing for more horsepower & torque.
FLOW TESTING
Upgrading to IE’s HPFP reliably increases the flow rate of the high-pressure pump for more tuning headroom to increase power safely. The result is a maximum gain of 38.58% over stock!

Tolerances are hand-verified using specialized measurement tools and verified down to 0.00005 of an inch to ensure reliability and proper function. PUMP DYNO VERIFICATION
IE HPFP designs are verified and torture-tested on our own application-specific fuel pump dyno. This machine is able to replicate countless miles and various RPM situations to substantiate every detail of the HPFP design. This strict engineering process, combined with our 100% in-house CNC machining, obsessed quality control, and top-shelf components is why IE HPFP Kits have earned their esteem and reputation for reliability.

DLC COATED
DLC (diamond-like carbon coating) is an advanced coating process applied to the tool steel pin. This coating combines hardness and low friction, providing excellent wear properties and self-lubrication behavior that drastically extends pin life.
CONSTANT DIAMETER PIN
Many aftermarket HPFP options use a stepped-diameter piston in a cost-saving effort to reuse the factory seal. This design dramatically reduces the contact between the pin and cylinder, causing instability of the pin stroke leading to increased wear. IE’s uniquely designed constant diameter pinmaintains its larger size through the entire piston shaft. This engineering detail increases the contact between the pin and cylinder by over 50% compared to kits which do not replace the seal and nut, increasing pin stability.
NITRIDED CYLINDER
The cylinder can see up to 19000 strokes a minute with an astonishingly thin tolerance and is lubricated by fuel only. Our tool steel cylinder is nitrided to guarantee it can withstand this torture. This advanced process infuses nitrogen atoms into the atomic structure of the outer surface of the component, increasing surface hardness and wear properties drastically. The thickness and quality of every nitride production batch are independently verified in a specialty lab.
TITANIUM RETAINER
Our ultra-lightweight FEA optimized titanium retainer reduces the chance of valve float while securing the spring to the new IE pump assembly. The internal kit is designed correctly for the factory spring rate, avoiding the need for a stiffer spring that adds unnecessary pressure and wear on the camshaft.
LEAK-FREE SEAL
A custom CNC Machined nut holds our molybdenum disulphide impregnated PTFE seal, which is ideal for reducing friction and maintaining stiffness. The seal is spring energized to increase reliability and provide constant outward pressure. The body is sealed to the pump with a quality Buna-N rubber o ring, ensuring it will hold up against heat and a wide range of fuels. What may seem like minor features add up to ensure long life and trouble-free operation.
A special rotomold process is used to manufacture our premium polymer 3.0T intake airbox. This method leverages complex shapes and angles to maximize internal volume for air supply and smooth flow for a true performance design. This molding style also produces consistent wall thickness, strong corners, and superior heat resistance for a cost-friendly intake without compromises.

BUILT-IN VELOCITY STACK
Our motorsport-designed velocity stack creates a smooth transition from the large filter area to the turbo inlet with excellent laminar properties. This uniquely engineered detail produces a high inertia flow with reduced drag and power-robbing turbulence.
TURBO INLET UPGRADE
Adding the optional cast turbo inlet upgrade further reduces significant air restrictions while maintaining the largest size possible from the airbox to the turbocharger. The intake and turbo inlet further increases airflow from 37% (intake only) up to a combined 61% over stock! Turbo inlet pipe is an optional upgrade and can be purchased with your intake or added at a later date.

Forge Motorsport is proud to release the latest version of our very popular solenoid driven valve for the 2013-on VAG 1.8 TSI/TFSI engine (US codes CPKA and CPRA) and 2.0 TSI/TFSI engine (Euro code CNTA, CHHA, CHHB, CJXB, CZPA, and CJXC;US codes CPLA and CPPA) including Golf MK7 R
This valve is fully engineered to remedy the failure issues experienced with the OEM solenoid valves when their diaphragm may rupture which results in a boost leak. The later revision OEM valves have a longer lift but ultimately the plastic brittles and in extreme circumstances, parts of the plastic can break off. Our valve uses full billet alloy construction with a piston based internal design that provides for significantly improved reliability over the OEM valves along with lightning fast response. It has also been proven in cars running over 600bhp!
This new valve has a very short overall installed height, which enables fitment of this atmospheric valve into the tight space between the turbo and the inlet hose from the airfilter, older larger valves and sandwich plates will not fit this engine.
We recommend servicing your valve every 3 years, or 20,000 miles, whichever comes sooner

Forge has developed this turbo outlet muffler delete pipe for the 1.8 and 2.0 petrol turbo (TSI) (EA888 engine). It has been designed with 3 points of contact to eliminate any possibility of resonation. This part will improve the sound of your turbo spooling and improve response due to its sleek single billet design that eliminates the restriction and turbulence caused by the OEM part.
The Forge Motorsport Turbo Blankets are designed to isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger. Designed by the Forge development team for the EA888 TSI vehicles, the Forge turbo blanket is designed to assist in the protection and prolonged life of the engine components.
The unique design will assist in reducing turbo lag and produce cooler air intake temperatures, The Forge turbo blanket will lose its flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures, so once fitted it shouldnot be routinely removed as you will likely damage the blanket.

The Forge Motorsport high flow intake hose for the MQB platform 2.0 engines, eliminates the highly restrictive plastic inlet pipe, and replaces it with our smooth bore multi-ply silicone hose which increases air flow, improving efficiency and performance. This equates to increases of up to 10hp which is a remarkable gain for an easy to fit bolt on modification.

The high flow male alloy coupler is a bayonet type, rotated to the locked position before fixing in place by positioning the hose on the alloy coupler and tightening the hose clamps at both ends of the hose, anchoring the alloy coupler in position to complete the installation.

MQB PERFORMANCE DOWNPIPE OVERVIEW
When upgrading your VW MK7 or Audi 8V A3 to stage 2 software you will also need to reduce the back pressure caused by the small diameter stock pipe. With the exhaust system flowing better performance gains be achieved. Turbo lag should also be reduced as an added benefit.
IE engineers guarantee a perfect fit by designing all IE downpipes in-house using the latest technology. Digital scanning is using to scan the entire environment which ensures that there is proper clearance and that all mounting points are in the correct location. Manufactured from 304 stainless offers a life-long product that brings performance and fun to the table for years to come.
POWER GAINS
The most power gains will be achieved when the IE Downpipe is paired with IE matching software, air intake, and FDS intercooler.
SOUND TUNING
An aggressive and drone-free sound will be emitted from the IE Cast Downpipe. This should be music to your ears! Thick wall tubing and cast sections remove much of “tinny” sound emitted by cheaper, thin wall, downpipes. With downpipes, you get what you pay for in terms of sounds and overall manufacturing quality.
HIGH-FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER
IE’s performance downpipe includes a high-flow 200 cell per inch metal matrix catalyst located as close to the turbo as possible. Metal matrix catalysts are higher performance because the matrix web is thinner, allowing higher flow in the same size. Our catalyst is also a very large diameter, allowing a large flow area and maximum power. By being placed close to the turbo, emissions and unwanted unpleasant smells are greatly reduced.
DIRECT BOLT-ON WITH PERFECT FITMENT
The IE downpipe replaces over 6 feet of restrictive factory exhaust tubing, all the way back to the OE “Cat-Back” rear section. Sturdy fabricated mounts and precise engineering result in a rattle free and long last replacement exhaust system. 3D scanning systems were employed to ensure perfect placement both in pre and post-production phases.
