This small part can play quite a big role in your engine's well-being. It conveys the movement of your camshaft into power for the high pressure fuel pump by riding directly on the camshaft lobe.

 If it becomes worn to the point of breaking it can cause permanent damage to the camshaft, fuel pump, or both. It could also send metal particles into your cylinder head which can cause damage to moving parts. Without replacement, it is common for followers to have holes worn through them.

Replacing this follower as a form of preventative maintenance can save you from spending even more money and time replacing your fuel pump or camshaft from damage caused by a worn follower.

Most commonly used to eliminate battery drain issues in Pre-2009 model Volkswagen cars when upgrading the radio to a later model such as the RNS510, RCD510 ,RCD330, RCD340 etc.

At CTS Turbo we are proud to announce our new 3″ air intake system for the 1.8TSI and 2.0T Gen1 and Gen3 VW/Audi range of vehicles. This kit includes parts that make it compatible with both generations of TSI engines!

The air scoop works in conjunction with our sealed airbox to seamlessly force cold air into our 3″ air intake system.  Air then flows through our high flow cone air filter, which utilizes an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing.  Our 3″ CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe allows for smooth entry of cold air into the engine providing peak power gains ranging from 9-15WHP. The CTS Turbo TSI Turbo Outlet Pipe (TOP) is designed to replace the narrow 'pancake' pipe that comes as factory equipment on your vehicle. Our Turbo Outlet Pipe features 2.25" diameter aluminum tube for optimized flow. The CNC machined billet mating flange makes connecting this TOP to your FMIC literally a snap. The billet anodized turbo to TOP connector, 2.25" coupler and premium clamps top this package off.
