  1. ECS Manifold Port Boost Tap Kit

    Product Details The ECS Billet Aluminum Manifold Port Boost Tap Kit conveniently adds three boost / vacuum ports to your Gen3 engine for any of your specific needs. Located on the left side of the intake manifold within the unused side intake port, this location provides a strong pneumatic signal and allows for an installation. Through multiple design revisions and product testing, our team of engineers found that other methods of acquiring a manifold signal, such as spacing the MAP / IAT sensor on top of the intake manifold, lead to skewed data being transmitted to the ECU. We found that intake air temperatures were reading lower (15-20° F at WOT), ignition timing was off (as much as -5°) and air /fuel ratio was richer (+1.0 point by 5,000 RPM). This directly translated into engine power dropping by as much as 6 WHP on an untuned vehicle! You can be certain that all critical data is not affected and your engine's ECU has all of its valuable information to properly adjust timing and fuel with our leading edge design! Engineered specifically for the Gen3 engine, we designed our Manifold Port Boost Tap with 3 ports, so you have multiple options to provide the strongest manifold signal to either your boost gauge, blow off valve, water meth switch or any other pneumatic device. The IE DSG Tune for the MK6 2.0T TSI has been carefully set up to make the car way more fun to drive. It completely reworks the shift point mapping in both drive and sport. The transmission will no longer lug the engine in drive mode. Clutch clamping forces are increased so the transmission can safely handle much more power. Shifts are much, much faster taking time directly off the 0-60 and ¼ mile times. ONE TUNE FOR ALL STAGES IE’s TCU/DSG tune is all-inclusive and does not offer expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features are included from the outset. A great deal of sportiness is added from the tune while maintaining factory smoothness and driveability. More aggressive launches and faster shifts are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Also, expect acceleration and 0-60 times to improve from faster shifting. DSG tune requires a matching ECU Tune, do not install on stock ECU tunes. DRIVE MAPPING REWORKED The MK6 2.0 TSI DSG is designed to a fault to keep engine rpm extremely low in drive. We completely reworked this, creating a more enthusiast-friendly drive mapping which shifts a bit higher. This eliminates vibration and that constant feeling that you’re lugging the engine. We’ve reworked the downshifting aspect as well, making the transmission much quicker to deliver power when you need it. Thousands of miles of testing were accumulated and a variety of users were polled to come up with this improved drive mode. INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold more torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches will far more aggressive. FLASHED THROUGH OBD-II PORT There’s no need to remove the TCU from the car and it can be flashed in your driveway or through an IE software dealer. Additionally, having an IE PowerLink cables means you can install updates are they become available as well as read TCU and ECU fault codes. TAKE-OFF LAG REDUCED The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce that annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop.     Eliminate unnecessary play in your shifter with these billet shift cable end bushings. These two piece bushings are CNC machined in-house from 6061 aircraft aluminum with a special bronze inner bushing. They directly replace the rubber factory cable bushings that deteriorate over time causing excessive play in the shifter. When the factory bushings are worn out, shifts become less precise, causing you to miss shifts. Not only will you be missing shifts but, by not fully engaging gears in the transmission, you can even strip the teeth right off the gears. Includes a total of four bushings.
