Forge Motorsport offer this valve option for the 1.4T, 1.8T & 2.0T FSI and TSI engines, including the late 2011-2013 2.0 engine fitted with the IHI turbo, (the 1.4T needs additional fitting kit (FMBGFK3) found in a wide range of vehicles from VW, Seat, Skoda and Audi.

This valve represents the latest evolution of part number FMFSITVR, The result is a full replacement recirculating valve that integrates seamlessly with the OEM electronics and results in absolutely no fault codes, no check engine lights, and no detriment to the performance of the vehicle in any way. Like our full replacement atmospheric valve option, the FMFSITVR and FMFSITAT is fully engineered to remedy the failure issues experienced with the OEM solenoid valves when their diaphragm may rupture which would effectively result in a boost leak.

Our valve uses full billet alloy construction with a piston based internal design that provides for significantly improved reliability over the OEM valves along with lightning fast response. This valve is particularly well suited to the B7 and B8 chassis Audi A4 and A5 with the 2.0T engine. The valve mounting location on these vehicles is positioned particularly close to the frame rail of the chassis, and the overall installed height of our standard replacement valve and spacer combination is such that it conflicts with the chassis at this location.

The FMFSITVR valve has a much shorter overall installed height, which enables fitment of this recirculating valve option onto the B7 and B8 chassis whereas this was previously not an option. Another particularly unique feature of this product is the included intake manifold tap used to source a vacuum reference for the operation of the valve. This piece also has two other available provisions from which an intake manifold reference can be taken. These extra manifold references can be used for a boost gauge signal, and even a water/meth injection trigger where applicable. If this to be installed to the 1.4 Turbo engine, it will be necessary to additionally purchase our boost sensor adaptor FMBGFK3 - please see below in Related Products.

Note: This will ONLY fit the 1.4 turbo engines up to early 2013, where the turbo is mounted at the front of the engine bay. It will not fit engine codes CMBA & CXSB

The Integrated Engineering MK5/MK6 FDS intercooler system was built from the ground up to offer the ultimate in performance for your vehicle. When increasing the power output of your engine it is extremely important to ensure it has the proper cooling to match. It packs a very large intercooler core into the space available, a full 54% larger than the OEM core. This large core delivers cool air to the engine under all circumstances, increasing power and torque and simultaneously reducing heat soak.  

One of the most common failures on the 2.0T FSI engine is the factory pressure-relief valve. These valves are in place to recirculate crankcase gases into the intake manifold once they open. Although this works fine for a few thousand miles, they begin to leak over time and cause boost to go past the valve into the valve cover. This not only causes an oily mess in the engine bay from crankcase pressure, but a rough idle, fuel economy decline and boost loss. With boost pressure far below where it should be, it is common to notice significant power losses and poor drivability.

The IE DSG Tune for the MK6 2.0T TSI has been carefully set up to make the car way more fun to drive. It completely reworks the shift point mapping in both drive and sport. The transmission will no longer lug the engine in drive mode. Clutch clamping forces are increased so the transmission can safely handle much more power. Shifts are much, much faster taking time directly off the 0-60 and ¼ mile times. ONE TUNE FOR ALL STAGES IE’s TCU/DSG tune is all-inclusive and does not offer expensive upgrades. That’s right, there are no unnecessary upgrade charges and all features are included from the outset. A great deal of sportiness is added from the tune while maintaining factory smoothness and driveability. More aggressive launches and faster shifts are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Also, expect acceleration and 0-60 times to improve from faster shifting. DSG tune requires a matching ECU Tune, do not install on stock ECU tunes. USER ADJUSTABLE LAUNCH CONTROL The purchase of an IE DSG file grants you access to customization of launch points. With several launch points to choose from you can pick what works best for your setup! Available Launch Control RPMs: 3200 RPM 3400 RPM 3600 RPM 3800 RPM 4000 RPM IE DSG TUNE TECHNICAL FEATURES HIGHER SHIFT POINTS Utilize the whole powerband of your 2.0 TSI engine without the DSG interfering and shifting early. DRIVE MAPPING REWORKED The MK6 2.0 TSI DSG is designed to a fault to keep engine rpm extremely low in drive. We completely reworked this, creating a more enthusiast-friendly drive mapping which shifts a bit higher. This eliminates vibration and that constant feeling that you’re lugging the engine. We’ve reworked the downshifting aspect as well, making the transmission much quicker to deliver power when you need it. Thousands of miles of testing were accumulated and a variety of users were polled to come up with this improved drive mode. INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE Increasing the clutch pressure allows for the transmission to hold more torque without causing clutch damage or expedited wear. With the increased torque, the acceleration will be greatly increased and launches will far more aggressive. FLASHED THROUGH OBD-II PORT There’s no need to remove the TCU from the car and it can be flashed in your driveway or through an IE software dealer. Additionally, having an IE PowerLink cables means you can install updates are they become available as well as read TCU and ECU fault codes. TAKE-OFF LAG REDUCED The clutch engagement has been reworked to reduce that annoying “DSG Lag” when moving away from a stop. The pre-installed brass thread is hidden from sight and will accept our adjustable side winglets which are sold separately as a bolt-on accessory to suit our side splitter. These can be viewed HERE.

By purchasing this splitter, the pre-pressed in threaded brass inserts will now accept MK6 R adjustable side winglets (sold separately).
