This method leverages complex shapes and angles to maximize internal volume for air supply and smooth flow for a true performance design. Adding the optional cast turbo inlet upgrade further reduces significant air restrictions while maintaining the largest size possible from the airbox to the turbocharger. The intake and turbo inlet further increases airflow from 37% (intake only) up to a combined 61% over stock! Turbo inlet pipe is an optional upgrade and can be purchased with your intake or added at a later date.

The intake and turbo inlet designs offer a straightforward and bolt-in job of available hybrid turbo upgrades. Our turbo-specific CNC-machined and o ring sealed adapters always maintain the largest size possible without introducing flow restrictions. The Integrated Engineering MK5/MK6 FDS intercooler system was built from the ground up to offer the ultimate in performance for your vehicle. When increasing the power output of your engine it is extremely important to ensure it has the proper cooling to match. It packs a very large intercooler core into the space available, a full 54% larger than the OEM core. This large core delivers cool air to the engine under all circumstances, increasing power and torque and simultaneously reducing heat soak.
One of the most common failures on the 2.0T FSI engine is the factory pressure-relief valve. These valves are in place to recirculate crankcase gases into the intake manifold once they open. Although this works fine for a few thousand miles, they begin to leak over time and cause boost to go past the valve into the valve cover. This not only causes an oily mess in the engine bay from crankcase pressure, but a rough idle, fuel economy decline and boost loss. With boost pressure far below where it should be, it is common to notice significant power losses and poor drivability.
